The Pathways Festival takes place April 6–15, 2027. Use the checklist below to review the requirements and prepare the information you will need.
Registration checklist
- Review the Rules & Regulations.
- Review the relevant discipline syllabus to confirm the participant’s age or level category and Pathways Recital Requirements.
- Review the separate Pathways Festival eligibility requirements below.
- Review fees and refund information and important dates.
- Prepare current participant, guardian and teacher information. When applicable, also prepare contact information for the collaborative pianist or Chamber coach.
- Prepare repertoire details in performance order, including composers, titles, keys, catalogue references, Movement(s) and durations.
- Review the separate CMC National Finals and AMFA Provincials requirements if the participant wishes to be considered.
- Have any setup or accessibility information ready, including chairs, music stands, piano setup or accommodations.
- When registration opens, create or sign in to a Pathways account, use My Pathways to add or select a participant, complete and save the registration, then review it before submission.
When registration opens, registrations may be saved and resumed before submission.
Pathways Festival eligibility
Participants are generally eligible if they permanently reside in Alberta or have studied with an Alberta-based teacher for at least six months immediately preceding Pathways, whether lessons are in person or online. Participants who meet neither route must contact Pathways and receive approval before registering.
